What do you think of the new cries that sound whenever there's a patch of grass nearby? People say the music is great, but I can't enjoy it when Pokémon are screaming in the background.
I can't be the only one who hates it, right? I mean they still make sounds when you're far away so you either hear loud annoying screams or distant screams...
It'll be less annoying when there's more than Yungoos in the encounter table.

I love it. I recognize a lot of pokemon cries so it will help me know what pokemon are in what routes.

I guess. It would be fine if they just disabled it during scenes though. After you beat Plumeria there's this wind sound effect that's meant to be like a "dust has settled" kind of thing. The battle is over so it's peaceful and quiet, but then there's just Pokemon screaming and ruining it. Don't get me wrong I'm not like everyone else. I'm not pretending this is the end of the series life, just venting about something that bugs the fuck out of me.
haven't played the demo but I hated that shit in oras with the pellipper cry startling me every 5 seconds, is it as bad in SM?
shit, is that what i kept hearing in the demo? that was really fucking annoying
It'll be a helpful gimmick if the available pokemon in the area change every once in a while. It'd be super nice to hear a different assortment of cries than normal and realize there's new pokemon.
