Anon, you are shitting on these designs for being overcomplicated, while other anons >>29284732 are shitting on arguably one of the simplest designs as well. I love Gen 1 designs just like I love a lot of Gen 7's, and dislike a lot of Gen 2's like I dislike some of Gen 7's as well. I don't have a rule that says that I can't like and overcomplicated or simple design. I like what looks good to me, and dislike what doesn't, and IMO, while acknowledging that yes, the two I posted are more detailed than traditional designs, they look great to me.
