It's seemingly based on a heel wrestler aka one that uses unfair/dirty strategies to win a match, using unfair tactics is something well known to Dark-types given the amount of moves they often have in their move pools that deal with foul play. In the concept art for "Luchalitten" it was shown spitting out what seemed like poison and slamming a table into Ash's Pikachu, the latter most definitely being a dirty tactic. Going off of this it can be safely assumed that it will be Fire/Dark to match this.

Anon his moveset is based on the Great Muto, an infamous heel wrestler in Japanese professional wrestling. That spit thing is literally his biggest dick move, called the Poison Mist, where he spits his face pant in his opponent's eyes to stun them to set them up for one of his bigger moves, if not a finisher.
Muto also invented the Shining Wizard, which is what the Starlight Kick in Xenoblade is based off of. At least in the first Xenoblade.

Don't even bother, apparently, making something bipedal is the only way to make a design interesting for Game Freak. Fire rises or something like that.

I wouldn't even mind the tiger all that much, but after having played with a Emboar once (because most of my picks are usually Fire, Grass here and there), the similarities are too uncanny design-wise (even Torracat reminds me too much of Tepig) and I don't think even Fire/Dark will redeem it for me.

I think it's about 50/50 in terms of likeliness between Fighting and Dark for its second type, but it's definitely possible. It'll most certainly have moves of both type in its pool. I can see it using Seismic Toss and Submission about as much as I can see it use Sucker Punch and Night Slash. Because he's a heel wrestler.

I knew about this and it honestly triggers me more than Fire/Fighting since at least Fire/Fighting is a good type. Mono water is usable but not notable considering the sheer amount of them and mono grass is just plain shit.
