I'm still not sure if I prefer Minior or Flabebe's way of handling shinies for multiple forms better. Minior is easier to get the one you want I guess, but there's less variety. I randomly got a shiny Flabebe at the very start of XY in the wild. Glad I like Minior's not shiny colors just as much.

Zen mode is not a bad concept in itself, but it sucks because you get the defensive form under half HP. It doesn't really matter than you have top tier defences if you only have a quater of your HP left by the time it activates. Shields down actually looks pretty decent, as the defensive form is now ABOVE half HP, and you can't get statused as a bonus. Already looks miles better than zen mode. Of course we can't make any conclusions until stats are released.
