Could be post-game content, like a side-quest that changes your starters ability to Battle Bond. Only the Pokemon pre-national seem to be in the demo so like mega's it could be available after you beat the game.

UBs are not Pokémon, but you can catch them and "fuse" them with Marshadow. That's why UBs don't have any type, and besides having shinies forms, Marshadow doesn't have.
