If nintendo where to make another pokemon game on 3ds would you prefer a remake for Diamon and Pearl or another gen 1 remake?
Mind that last time we actually played as Red was on the GBA

I would as long as they added stuff like chances to catch Mew in game with the option to get it shiny....I honestly would prefer a remake of gold/silver that adds Mew and Celebi as story mode legendaries but the chance to get legit shinies and all the best game mechanics from the generations.
Just make it a completed game.
Make Kanto and Sevii a little bigger, add seasons, day times and hordes, actual side quests, that ren't just fetch quests, make very Pokemon available in game, have features from "previous" gens available such as a good battle tower, PWT, contests, etc.
Just make it a completed experience.

I'm kind of split between these options. I would much rather prefer Gen II getting remade (again) than Gen I getting remade (again).
Of course I really just want a standalone that lets me do fucking everything and goes to all regions, but eh.

I would OP but I didn't ever get Fire Red or Leaf Green so I'm probably a little more receptive to the idea than most
I only ever want them to alternate between remakes of Gen 1 and Gen 2.
No other Pokemon games are needed.
Just make Pokemon World Tour edition where you go to every fucking region. You can go to any region you want initially and the gym leaders have scaling teams.
I would play it but I wouldn't want an extremely faithful remake, I'd want them to expand the cities and towns to be much bigger

>Would you buy a gen 1 remake in 2018?
Nope.
There's no way I would ever buy any remake not named "Delta Emerald". Thankfully, it will never happen.
>would you prefer a remake for Diamon and Pearl
This is a more interesting option over another Gen 1 remake.
I'll pass, though.
