Why shouldn't we deconsider the possibility of new mega pokemon in the game?
Just look at the revealed dex. It has several pokemon who have a Mega Evolution, yet, not a single model for them. I think there is still some possibility of ...I don't know... Mega Machamp? Archeops? Even Flygon... Who knows?

It's just the regional dex so we could see at least one or two in the post game.

It's an anchor with a wooden steering wheel, plus some moss/algae or something. I'd say Steel/Grass.
