Also an idea i've had, memory link returns in Eclipse and you can link up with your SM save file. If you do this, you can battle with your character from SM with his/her clothes. If you do not use memory link, he/she will be wearing default clothes.

I think Z is going to come next after S/M. It'd be weird but with Kalos feeling so unfinished and the new Zygardes coming in this game it points towards us going back to Kalos next.

I agree with most of what you said, but ORAS wasn't remade during Gen 5 because you could still play GBA games on the DS. The whole reason the remakes exist are because you can't play them on the latest systems.

Yes. We have one event for 2017, and then nothing past that. We also have an official statement about the next Pokémon game being developed for the NX.

This isn't some tinfoil hat conspiracy, this is literally being told flat-out that Gen 7 is only being supported for two years, before we get Pokémon on the next Nintendo console.

Hoping for both DP remakes and RB remakes. Hopefully both with updated dexes and new regional forms, and new megas too, hopefully. Maybe not a lot.

Then gen 8 in like V years with gen V amounts of new Pokémon.

The original Red and Blue are on Virtual Console and you can play Diamond and Pearl on your 3DS since DS games are still comparable with the 3ds.

RBY was fucking empty. Literally the only thing they can do is more Mewtwo lore, which i wouldn't mind, but basing an entire game around it? Nah. No thanks. Origins did enough for that besides explaining the Mega.

If we went back to Kanto, I would like a revisit, set after Sun and Moon and they can tie Johto into its lore in a way that makes sense (Like Lugia originally being from there or more war shit). Different maps, new areas, new evil team, etc.

This. I wouldn't even be mad if they really expanded on Kanto and made it less bland. Change some Gym Leaders, keep Johtos E4 and add some deepestlore, I might accept it. Even then, I would like for Kanto to be a second region, but people would just bitch about not going to Johto. There really is no win here.
