Grasping at straws. Gen 7 has less new actual Pokemon than Gen 6 and this is as much of a letdown as Gen 6, even. Quit playing Pokemom because all it ever has brought since Gen 5 onward is fucking dissapointment.

It's not grasping at straws. It's fact. This is the total of >new Pokémon + new forms< that is in the Pokédex. 143 is how much my Living Dex is going to expand once SM comes out.
But yes, it is still a fucking disappointment.

The Pokédex counts them as alterate forms, so they are. I never said it wouldn't be disappointing.

Christ it was obvious with the fact that they're nearing 1000 Pokemon that we'd be getting less.

Gen 1 Pokemon don't count as new Pokemon.
This is the new trend for every gen, less than 90-100 just so Gen1 can be center stage.
