The designs are good but honestly after Gen V how the fuck does any of this shit still fly? They had 150+ brand new Pokémon. I can accept that they made the transition to 3D with XY and it was a lot of work so they kept the number low. It seems like we have a lot of non-legendary pokemon that aren't evolving. Currently we have 10 (11 if the sea urchin is a form change). Comparatively:
>G1: 7/151 (4.6%)
>G2: 12/100 (12%)
>G3: 18/135 (13.3%)
>G4: 5/107 (4.7%)
>G5: 14/156 (8.9%)
>G6: 5/72 (6.9%)
>G7: 10/72 (not counting UBs or alt. forms) (13.8%)
This is the highest percentage it's been since G3. However, G3 was also significantly higher than other gens because of the introduction of doubles and the sheer amount of paired pokemon involved (taking out paired pokemon you're left with 8, or 5.9%)
Because of this I believe some data was scrubbed. Clear candidates for evolution are:
>Komala: the most obvious choice. LOOKS completely NFE.
>Pyukumuku: a little small, but we know it's a gimmick mon from that sidequest trailer, so there's evidence to suggest it's single-stage.
>Minior: looks like it can be expanded on, otherwise it's just a color gimmick mon.
Assuming one evo for each of these 3, we're taken down to 7/75, or 9.3%) This is much more in line with the previosu trends.

really the only mon i have strong feelings for is turtonator, many of them are alright looking just doesn't do anything for me personally. I probably only have strong feelings for 14 mons across all the games. Also didn't play xandy but i really don't like 3d models compared to sprites, everything looks like its made of play foam.
