Lot a QoL improvements and looks a lot better than gen 6

Would be great if I got to use actual, new pokemon outside the little catching range instead of having Greninja foisted upon me as if it's supposed to be my New Favourite Pokemon! I was also hoping I'd be able to pick a starter and dick around in an early route, instead of just blasting the shit out of everything with an over-levelled frog.

But aside from that, the music was good, the environments look nice, and the Ace Trainer was cute. Plus riding Tauros was way better than riding Rhydon, it handles like you're riding an HM bicycle. Smashing through boulders without needing to rely on the piece of shit that is Rock Smash feels great.
