I think free battles with friends should give it to you. Some people might say "but you could just have the opponent forfeit/have 1 pokemon" but you get like 3bp from forfeiting every fight in the Institute anyways, so what's the difference?

I don't know if anyone has done this before, but if the length of the bar is representative of how many Mega's there are in the shop, there would be around 24 in the shop. There are 46 species of pokemon that can mega evolve (assuming that X and Y versions would be S/M exclusives). If there is a second store, which there probably is, that pretty much covers every Mega evolution. Otherwise we'll be able to hunt down the rest, I assume. Obviously this doesn't confirm or deny any new mega's but it's still interesting to look at.
