G7 Fossilmon Speculation Thread

Well, in real life, Hawaii is known for having a very modest fossil record. What few fossils it does have are mostly just plants and corals. If there really are no fossil Pokémon this generation, it could be a reflection of that, especially since they seem to be following their real-life inspirations more closely these days.

But if we are getting new fossil Pokémon, they could be, say, a Water type and a Grass type. I've also seen people speculate that Kanto fossils might get Alola forms, effectively serving as this gen's fossilmons.

I do hope we get something one way or another, fossil Pokémon are always an interesting addition.

There's a natural museum in the new anime, which is encouraging. It shows Aurorus and Tyrantrum fossils, which isn't.
