- 85 new pokemon, 25 regional forms
- battle bond is greninja exclusive
- kahunas are the gym leader replacement, trial captains are something else entirely
- endgame is more story driven (but not by much)
- zygarde is a side quest, you will have up to ~40% of his cells for most of the main game, rest are post game only
- boys can have long hair, girls can have shorter hair
- gladion is the rival, after null evolves, his silvally is permanently the type strong against your starter
- type null is a post game gift (think beldum)
- ss anne is the new battle facility
- fossils are a megalodon (water/electric) and a sabretooth tiger (poison/rock)
- starters final evos have alternate forms, depends on how well they like you with refresh, type and movepools are the same only the stat spread is different
