Since the gym update there's been a resurgence of mystic scum in my town thats normally spilt every between valor and instinct. What's the best way to demoralize these fags and make them give up again?

A 1300 CP Dewgong can kill Dragonite a 3000 CP without Blizzard if you only dodge his basic attacks. A 10% 1400 CP one of mine also pulled it off. A 1700 CP Dewgong should be able to do it effortlessly even against a lvl 40 Dragonite with 3500 CP probably.

What GPS method is your phone using?

GPS-only, or supplemented by mobile network / wifi?

The latter is what gets you crazy amounts of drift because of bad assumptions about the nature of wireless signals so when the wireless connection starts having a wonky day, your calculated position starts wandering all over the place.

If you're using the latter and it's stabilised really well, try hiding your phone behind a wall between it and the wifi router and/or hide it in variable density material like under a mattress or halfway behind a metal wire mesh. Stuff like that. Hopefully something works.

Sidenote, I'm very pleased with my 92% ember/claw charizard. hes over 2300 now, hits like a truck, and Dclw has a very short cast animation windup/cooldown. It's tricky to dodge and doesnt leave any time after the cast for enemies to land bonus attacks. Very underrated. Also shit's on the lazy high level players that like to just sit there tapping a screen with thier 3k dragonite to kill gyms.

Theyve made more money on this game already than many games make in a lifetime. Niantic is a relativly low-overhead company as well, so the profit margins are probably through-the-roof. If they ever figure out how to run a real marketing operation and sell things like cosmetics for trainers and pokemon (which can then be shown off in gyms), they'll make even more.

The focus for them does need to be drawing back existing players by offering new incentives. The release of gen 2 or legendary events will obviously be massive draws to get players back, but they badly need to expand the gameplay experience to retain players, and the expand marketing concept for the game to make money. Report them. If they stayed on a gym while they were perma b&, their username changes to "Trainer" and they become lvl 1 so that will be your confirmation that they were banned. I've only successfully done it once after 3 tries during the bot era but I imagine it will still work.

I would be spoofing the fuck out of this game except my wife and stepson really like to bond with me over it.

They are more of a hindrance than help, though. My wife insists on max boosting any fully evolved pokemon that is close to 100% IV. She got defensive when I tried to explain that a pidgeot with hurricane still wasn't worth it even though the DPS site said it was the best flying type.

My stepson will always start shouting for attention if we battle gyms. He refuses to learn the mechanics so he uses the first six suggested pokemon then gets confused why they don't work. He's too impatient to revive/heal anything so it's all shitmons at this point.

Honestly, it's easier to just wait until they sleep before I drive around and knock out gyms myself. If I wasn't Mystic, the gyms would be impossible to interact with.

I was botting accounts to sell when the patch officially rolled over. i continued to try to bot them for the rest of the day on the old client which is basically a free "hey this account is cheating" sign to niantic. They got softbanned after 5 minutes every time. When I logged into them to check them out I got an in game message when I logged in that made me solve a captcha and then told me I'd been detected using 3rd party software and if i didnt quit I'd get banned. Bubblestrat works by abusing the two attack delay at the start of every battle. So the defender you put in has to be extra slow with an extra slow attack (e.g. Bubble) while your attacker is very fast and can kill the defender before the two attack delay is up.

Well Stone Edge is higher DPS so it's not a complete loss on a Rhydon. You can still smash things with it.

It seems I'm gaining more 10k eggs as of late. Just 2 of those within 1 lv so I got to a total of 5 now (recently became lv 26).

Anyway it's that time again. So tell me guys what am I going to get? My previous ones were 2 Lapras, an Aerodactyl and worst hatch Electabuzz. Not bad so far, but I'm really waiting for my luck to run out.
