Unobtainable but transferable. They want those Bank subs. However it's possible that some Alolan forms will also be Nextregion forms if the same species is met with the same set of circumstances in this new region. I wonder if they'll refer to them as, say, "Snow Vulpix" instead of "Alolan Vulpix" if it adapts the same way in another region, to be more of a catch-all, or if they'd just grandfather in the name Alolan Vulpix without really concerning themselves with precision.
