For me at least battling is stimulating enough to not feel like a chore after 200+ encounters. Plus the dexnav feels more engaging than hatching and even if the chances are similar it feels like you're making progress with DexNav.

After filling my boxes multiple times I've finally got it, and it's got overgrow. Still looks nice I guess, not like I play much competitive anyway.

I guess it's what you have to expect when you hunt for hidden abilities. Hopefully the introduce an ability capsule that gives you the hidden ability in sun and moon. It was my fourth shiny this week though so you kinda deserved it more haha, I was wanting to go for a drizzle politoed after this but I'm not too sure now, I'll probably stick to shit with good normal abilities.

The rest were from the friend safari, so none of them were even the pokemon I was after let alone the right nature or ability. I only just came back to my snivy hunt a couple days ago after spending forever trying to get one at the start of the year. I'm mostly just a collector anyway so I think I'll just take this one and use my non shiny one on the rare occasion I play online or at the battle maison.

If you want a specific pokemon you should breed for it. If you're using horde encounters you should be prepared to get something you weren't going for.

I always seem to encounter shinies in HG, don't know if my cartridge is lucky but damn.

Recently restarted HG and caught shiny Sentret, it's a a female too so that's cool.

I think it's a neutral nature.

I always seem to run into shinies along the first routes up until Violet City and on the way down from Blackthorn.
