Just noticed that, apart from Alolan Raichu, every Alolan Form so far has at least 1 type that was either rare or didn't exist in Gen I.
Uncommon
>Ice (2 in Gen I): 4
>Dragon (3 in Gen I): 1
>Ghost (3 in Gen I): 1
Didn't exist:
>Fairy: 1
>Dark: 5
>Steel: 2

Nice catch
>>29177767
>Ice (2 in Gen 1)
That shit is wrong
>>29177875
This
>Jynx
>Articuno
>Lapras
>Cloyster
>Dewgong
There were five ice-type lines in gen 1, but they were all either high-end Pokemon or water-types randomly gaining it as a secondary typing. There weren't any NFE ice types.
>>29177887
Lapras, Cloyster and Dewgong may as well be monowater's.
gen 1 had 5 ice pokemon
>>29177767
Yeah helps put more types in a possible remake.
>>29177903
nope
>>29177767
There were 4 ice types in gen 1, actually (Dewgong, Cloyster, Jynx and Articuno) but yeah still pretty rare.
Also most alola forms have at least one 4x weakness
>>29177923
oh I forgot about Lapras. That's 5
>>29177875
>>29177887
Oh fuck, I'm stupid. Ignore me.
Where is >>29177777
I guess it still works if you ignore ice, you just have 2 exceptions (A-Vulpix and A-Raichu)
>>29177767
That means if we get Alolan forms from Sinnoh Pokémon, we'll get Fire-types?If all that was true, you would've gotten those quintz.
>>29177952
You're not wrong. Some pokemon only got the ice type when we got more gens. Noticed this recently while playing pokemon stadium 1.
