We do not know how well they have scrubbed this thing.

In the worst case, they have scrubbed it perfectly and no new info gets out. We still get file formats/data structures here, though, which means very fast datamining when the full game leaks/releases, and very fast PKHeX support for sun/moon.

In the best case, we get as much or more as we got from ORAS.

I think they've probably done a pretty good job scrubbing it, though -- we'll see how much Kaphotics and I can get out of it.

It won't run well, they've already said so in multiple interviews that it's designed with the New 3DS in mind. It's exactly like Hyrule Warriors was: 10+ fps drops and limited controls. Now, upgrade your hardware or gtfo. Nintendo doesn't want you playing games on that clunky pile of shit anymore.

I'm not sure if Gamefreak cares enough to bother addressing the issue, and if they cared at all, they'd just remove any data that isn't necessary. For instance, if they didn't want anyone to find out about mythicals (Like Hoopa, Diancie, and Volcanion), they should have just excluded them from the base game, and patched them in later. GF seems to be allergic to the idea of patching (outside of gamebreaking bugs like the Lumiose issue), which is odd in a day and age where such practices are commonplace.

Again, it's about what they feel like putting in the effort for. They COULD have done what I said above, but it's much easier to just have everything included at the start.
