It all depends on how lazy gamefreak is. They could easily remove all traces of pokemon they want to hide, it's a matter of if they bothered or not.

It's going to be much faster now that we now where to look. Dex is going to be one of the first things we get, if Japan gets it in about 24 hours we can hope for a dex leak before the US release.

You're expecting Game Freak to actually care about something so minor as the datamining. Game Freak is possibly well aware that it will happen, but likely doesn't care that much because it won't affect the sales in any meaningful way in the long run.

The majority of people likely won't even look at the datamined information. Most of the people that do will probably be a smaller percentage. A smaller percentage.
