If we got that route there'd probably also be a place to save before each dungeon and maybe half way through a given one.
Those that actually save at the E4 or such are screwed though.

I think its actually a good thing to punish those that try to save at the E4.
If you lost to a member, you should probably either take the lose or restore a save from the beginning so you can train more. If you're smart you'll buy a metric fuck ton of Revives and Full Restores before entering and heal after every battle, so if you lost, a reset probably isn't helping you.

Deal breaker for me. Hell no. I liked when they made it so poison didn't fuck you over after every battle though.
