It CAN be a technical process, because there are a ton of files that will likely be obfuscated with misleading or just generic filenames, that's why it's called mining.

You will be sifting through so much UI and system asset shit it's unreal. The process is just saving the game to an SD card, putting it on your computer, and decompressing it.
