Take a drink every time someone says "'kay" or "No doubt" in the TPCi dub: you'd be dead, fast, there is absolutely zero variety to the dialogue used in the current dub. At least 4Kids didn't repeat the same damn phrases ad infinitum like TPCi does, on top of having more natural & free-flowing dialogue in general (especially with Ash & Team Rocket).

Sawyer sounds like a man, Ash like a raspy, gruff voiced woman, and Serena sounds like a woman rather than a girl.

I just can't even...this acting is fucking terrible, and it's been all TPCi dub music throughout the episode so far...see, this is why no one watches the dub now. If it was at least tolerable like when 4Kids did it, I might've been inclined to sit through it again, but this shit is completely intolerable.

Well, Jessie does sound like a valley girl in the TPCi dub, but the fact a girl like Serena is given the voice of a woman is not good, no. She should sound like a girl.

On top of that, dub Clemont sounds like he's sleeping through his performance. Dub Bonnie is less annoying than before, but still lapses into a nasally and fake tone pretty often, especially when shouting or attempting to emote.

I'm honestly convinced TPCi don't give a shit how bad the dubs get in general at this point as long as they have an audience to watch them, desu. There is zero effort put into making a genuinely solid dub with them these days.

The fact that TPCi/DuArt can't even keep the same characters' name intact for a span of a few episodes says a lot about how little they care about the production of the English dub.

Contrast this with how 4Kids used to do commentaries on their dub Movies (1st & 4th, namely), let people see how they did the voice direction (3rd Movie VHS), and clearly gave a large amount of effort into their Pokemon dub, and it's clear who did the better job.

Jelly donuts and sandwiches don't make a dub bad (nor do berries or veggies, though these are TPCi's food censorship examples instead of 4Kids' ones): terrible acting, dialogue/writing, and excessive music replacement do, however, all things TPCi's dub suffers from.
