Hey /vp/, what's your opinion on poison type?

I've alwaysed used crobat, but I only use flying and dark moves with him. Other than that, I've never had use of them. I've always wanted to use Nidoking and croagunk, even Garbodor, but everytime I try, they're just not as good as the rest of the team, and I always end up replacing them with pokemon that have better stats and better movepools. Poison is one of my least favorite types, along with rock and bug. It's just been neglected in general.

Pretty cool type.
I wish there were things that could use Poison Touch/Poison Point reliably, I know they aren't bad abilities. Maybe allow Steel-types to get poisoned while still being immune to Poison moves.

Yeah. If I recall correctly there ARE one or two ways steel-types can be poisoned already, so it wouldn't be too abnormal.

Favorite type. Can't wait to use Alolan Muk.

The type itself isn't very good, but there are a few pokemon that are good and happen to be poison type.

I really like them overall but it's not my favorite type. It's probably in my TOP 5 favorite types

I really enjoy the aesthetic of the type.

They're really sketchy and unnerving in a way that's a bit more indirect in showing it, while types like ghost and dark are more on-the-nose.

It's not bad, but it's a bit too common in Kanto, especially compared to how hard it is to get poison-type moves in FRLG.

It's both, different poisons for different purposes.
Weeds are as big a problem as pests.
