Seems there was a fair bit of trading stuff that went on between 1804 and 1824, at the end of which, Russia apparently lost interest in Hawaii since it was easier and cheaper to get supplies from Boston or New York by the 1820's, although Hawaii seemed somewhat interested still for some time through the reign of Kamehameha I.
