a shiny male snorunt a week ago while i was trying to complete the hoenn dex. i'm a lazy fuck and i'm glad i was SO lazy to not even teach teleport to a ralts that just learned it seconds before. if i had, i wouldnt have walked a few steps more and encountered it. my first shiny encounter since shiny cubone all the way back in silver version.
granted, i bred like a dozen shinies in x and y, but this is still merely my second encounter ever

I've only ever caught two shinies. I soft reset for a Darkrai back in my OG Platinum and the first one I ever ran into otherwise was a shiny Tympole in White.

I've been playing Pokemon since it came out in the US and the only shiny I ever caught was a Ditto. I don't care anything about competitive battling, but it was relaxed with imposter and has 4 perfect IVs, so that was pretty neat.

A pink wobbuffet in pokemon emerald. That was years ago though. I used to make clones of it then trade them on pokemon soul silver's gts
