Simudub means the English dub gets simultaneously released as the show airs in Japan. It's a relatively new thing. Hawlucha is the only Pokémon in Ash's Kalos team I don't think was wasted in any way. Talonflame too since it battled a lot, although its battles were generally pretty boring strategy-wise. They looked great and it had two amazing evolutions, so it evens out.
