Same basic colors. Exaggerated eyes that look like bbygurls first winged eyeliner session, blue gem on its head, on all fours, tip of the tail and whiskers are black or white.

If the Riddler has any validity I think Alolan Persian might be his Cleopatra hint. Meowth was venerated by the native royal family in alola, Persian could have a royal feel to it. Plus Egyptians did stuff with their eyes too.

It's feral and wild. After the monarchy fell, Meowth had to get used to the wild. Since they only knew the good life, they went crazy and aggressive when they evolved as spoiled brats are often depicted.
