Bulletproof will probably end up being better. Not many faries carry Pixilate Hyper Voice, and the ones that do have shitty defenses and/or can just hit Jangmo-o with other SE moves.

Bulletproof for Smogon

If he gets DDance/Swords Dance, Soundproof. Roar immunity is a must have, and Pixilated Hyper Voice is much more threatening than the 3 or 4 actually relevant "Bullet" moves.

Soundproof gives you immunities to Sylveon's and Gardevoir's main STAB, Mega Gengar's Perish Song, and annoying Sing/Grass Whistle/Supersonic/Confide from Battle Tower/Subway/Maison AI.

Besides switching into Gengar for protect teammates, I don't see any useful use to Bulletproof.

With a strong close combat, I don't think a ferrothorn would stay out against this thing anyways. Either way ferrorthorn will either switch out, or thunderwave. If it thunderwaves, it's gyro ball wouldn't do as much anyways.

For VGC it depends if move tutors are in Sun and Moon. Only sylveon will be able to use Pixilate Hyper Voice and it only learns it through tutor, so if there aren't tutors then Pixilate hyper voice just won't be in VGC 17 at all. It was the same in 14, Sylveon was pretty much useless for a year until ORAS.

If Jararararanga is a pseudo, it will also have a 600 BST, so the stats should make it fine despite the 4x fairy weakness.

However, it's possible that Jangmo-O is actually this generation's Axew - meaning it tricks everyone into thinking its a pseudo, but it actually isn't. We'll see.
