What do you think about new rules for official matches?
I'm happy for them 'cause Megas and some legendary/mythical pokémon will be banned and we'll get a more equilibrated and various metagame instead the monopole of the same 8-9 pokémons.
I like also the choice to allow only aloladex pokémon 'cause it means it will be big enough to have an its own metagame.

no megas is cool

>70 Pokemon
>Big enough to sustain its own meta
LOL
>>29102607
Meta doesn't equal big
We could have a 25 pokemon meta
>>29102607
FINALLY NO MORE KANGASHIT AND GARDESCREAM
>>29102607
i am fairly sure that the first VBC of every generation allowed only pokemon from regional dex so that's nothing new
>>29102673
'still better of a 8-9 one.

I think it'll be a lot more balanced so I'll actually participate this year. Last time I played VGC was 2014 with the Kalos-only format. Z-Moves aren't as broken if they operate like Gems, since it's a Protect meta.
I'm eager to see what they've done with the non-Alolan native options (not including Alolan forms), like Ledian, to see if they received any kind of competitive edge.

Even do this will be most likely just for a year until 2018, I'm linda loking forward to see VGC 2017 with all the new toys we're getting.

Aloladex doesn't mean we'll have to use only new pokémons, i think there will be also pokémons from past gen in its dex (and it is also confirmed by all the videos with tauros, misdreavus as esclusive of moon, drifblim as esclusive of sun etc)
Something like B2/W2
