I wonder if Alolan Muk will have a more prominent skull motif in its design. I could see Muk, Alolan Meowth, and Ariados being on Guzma's team.

A bit of baseless speculation:
Guza would be the aspiring Dark-Type or Poison-Type Trial Captain who was turned away for one reason or another.

Would that make Plumeria the one he isn't? They both have been seen using one Poison-Type Already.

Team Skull looks like they are gonna be a ton of fun to interact with. I hope they have a good arc other than the go to Pink and the Brain take-over-the-world bullshit we've seen a hundred times. Their introduction as failed Trial Captains gives me hope.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if A-Muk has jagged teeth like OP pointed out in regards to Gumza's sleeve.

I'm excited to see what Alolan Muk will look like. With the right access to moves it really could hold it's own and break out of the PU tier (if you're into those kinds of things).

I hope they do too. I want to be surprised by some pokemon my first run through the game. It killed me that they revealed every new Mega in ORAS before the release. No surprises.


I wouldn't mind knowing Alolan Persian typing though. If it's pure Dark, cool. If it gains another, I want to know it for team building purposes.

I'm thinking it might gain another type. I think every final evolution of an Alola mon so far has been an unuesed or previous Mega-exclusive typing, unless I'm mistaken.
