Ninetails and Sandslash changed because they live in the mountains. What's the logic behind Grimer turning into a blob of lava? Did they move to live in a volcano or something? Or did you just think that because Grimer is already a blob and Alola is based on Hawaii and has a volcano that it just makes sense for the blob Pokémon to just randomly lose all prior traits and turn into lava?
