no. events mons are shiny locked.

the only legit way of getting a shiny darkrai was through getting the member card in platinum.

I was curious if this worked for any of the other Mythical Pokemon that had been given away throughout the year, so I checked *Pokemon's Name*20 with some of the others. All of them were duds, EXCEPT for ARCEUS20, which instead said that I could not yet use that code at this time.
