A third stage evolution such as Charizard would only be comparable to an ultimate level, maybe even champion level Digimon.
So even if we used a mega evolving pokemon, it wouldn't be able to match a mega level digimon, unless we're talking something like Mega Fug, and even then he's screwed if we bring in the Ultra/Super Ultimate level.
