We have Solar Blade to look forward to, and one of the Tapu's will probably have an auto-grassy terrain move.
Leavanny can be a niche support mon in both singles and doubles, but its outclassed most of the time. You can try and make it work though.

Solar Blade is utter dogshit and will only be used by Groudon, same as Solar Beam is only valuable to Fire types. Fixing Grass will take nothing short of
A) a broken-ass buff move like Quiver Dance
B) an actual rebalancing of the type, or
C) some coverage moves Grass is actually allowed to learn, like maybe a Fire type Solar Beam being added

And even then most Grass types will want stat increases because they're nearly Bug tier on top of being a much worse type.
