horrible, vomit inducing. Electabuzz was one of the best designs of gen 1 and they did THIS to it.

Cross gen evos are almost all horrible. The only ones that are good are Steelix, Frosslass, Gallade, Yanmega, Weavile and Scizor. The rest are either horribly ugly shitmons that ruined good designs (Rhyperior, Electivire, Dusknoir, Magmortar) or were based off of shitmons anyways so nobody cared that they were ruined (Lickilicky, Tangrowth). Or they were just totally unnecessary and it makes you wonder what the fuck gf was thinking when they, for example, gave Chansey an evolution after it showed itself to be extremely strong in gen 1. Maybe they felt bad for the special split hurting it?

PG2/PGZ are cross gen evos done will imo. The existence of PGZ is what enables PG2 via eviolite, it would gotten powercrept out of existence if not for that, but PGZ is a completely different stat spread, its choice specs adaptability hyper beam is among the most powerful unboosted attacks in the game.

Scizor/Scyther are theoretically similar but Scyther's bad typing makes him uncompetitive.

Electivire and Gallade. But I like all Sinnoh cross-gen evos in general, part of what makes gen 4 so great. Being part of gen 1 evolutionary lines gives them an interesting and strong look.
