Agreed, never cared that much about Duskull and Dusclops (even though I used a Dusclops in my first Ruby/Sapphire playthrough), I prefer Dusknoir by a long shot, it's a pretty cool ghost-type.

I like Dusknoir because I takes the line back to being a ghost. It bugs me that both Duskull and Haunter evolve into something with legs even though they're pointless since it could just float.
I liked Dusknoir even more when I found out it's apparently based on a real cryptid

Duskull is great, It's a spooky little skull grimreaper. Dusclops was a shitty evolution, completely dropped the skull motif and has a silly looking mustache. It looks like it could be from a completely unrelated ghost line. Dusknoire is very strange looking, but in a good way. brought back the cool eye from duskull and looks more threatening than dusclops. Not as good as duskull, though it's still great.

I want to like dusknoir, because duskull and dusclops are some of my favorites and otherwise I'm not the sorta person to hate an evolution of a line. But the arms and cuffs look so weird and blocky.

I love dusknoir and duskull, not really a fan of 'clops though. I'm a little bummed that Dusknoir is made all but irrelivant competitively since Dusclops fills the same roll but better due to eviolite, but at least it's not the only Pokemon family in that same situation. I still use a Dusknoir for friendlies.

You're not up to date with todays meta, are you? I mean they are both in PU, but Dusknoir is a top tier choice in PU, while Smogon rates Dusclops as viable as Venipede and regular Glalie of all things. Dusknoir is the superior choice now, because of the Knock Off buff and Dusclops habing no offensive presence so it likely becomes set-up bait for any sweeper carrying Substitute or just special sweepers.

You're not wrong. Honestly the only one I don't really like is Rhyperior, but that's more due to design than anything else. I'm not sure exactly what about its head bothers me so much, but I really don't like it.

I loved a Duskull in fanfic I read long ago. That made me want to use it, and I evolved it into Dusknoir. I loved it. Then I fell in love with it again in the Mystery Dungeon.
Based Pokemon all around. I don't like Dusclops much though.

Duskull is my favorite Pokemon and while I like the entire line, the skull part is kinda gradually thrown away.

Easily my favourite Pokémon. It's ashame that there's not a lot of good art of it.
