best grass starter
kys furfag
Pretty sure those legs aren't supposed to bend like that.
>>29049817
Pokemon isn't known for being anatomically correct most of the time.
>>29049743
>>29049743
Yep. Robinhoot is indeed thesecondbest grass starter
>>29049912
Thank u for actually contributing to the topic unlike those 3 above u
>>29049743
This drawing of Robinhoot looks like a neopet
>>29049933
great taste
>>29049768
fuck off denialfag retard btfo
>another fakemon thread
no thanks
>>29050056
How many times do we need to teach you this lesson, denialfag?
>>29049743
>>29049912
Literally how would those bows work? One end is attached just in front of the arrow lessening the force drastically. It would go 2 feet at the most
>>29051290
We have a Pokemon that can control time, one that can control space, and that's your concern?
>>29051290
The artist drew it wrong. It happens.
>>29049933
I like robinhoot, but it goes torterra, sceptile, chesnaught THEN robinhoot.
>>29049743
>>29049912
Why do people always get the legs wrong?
>>29052275
Robinhoot looks like it fits the least since the 2nd evolution came out. I just don't see how posh Brit bird turns into Robinhood. Yes I'm aware Robinhood is British folklore.
>>29052676
Just compare the details of each Pokemon to each other, you'll find quite a few connections.
>>29049743
It's ugly and all over the place. NEXT
>>29052666
Because Pokémon has shit anatomy. You seen ice sandslash?
>>29052077
I don't have a problem with magic powers. But Robinhoot's power is clearly physical, and its "bow" doesn't work at all in a physical sense.
>>29052898
But they're drawing it different from the original art
>>29052676
It's more of a thematic evo with loose connections and details that could turn into the last form. Think Quilladin to Chesnaught.
The glasses and robe like leaves kinda give him a Harry Potter vibe
I guess "Hedgewig" it is
>>29052934
Seems fine enough to me in Pokemon logic.
>>29052934
it bothers me a lot too. my autism can't stand it
qt
>>29052652
Torterra > Sceptile > Serperior = Venusaur > Robinhoot
But robinhoot is still good
>>29052676
Robin hood was a noble before turning to defending the poor.
>>29049843
I mean given the "official" leaked art's legs doesn't even bend that way...uhh...
>>29053539
At least we agree on torterra. Robinhoot is for sure going to be my starter for this gen.
Torterra>Robinhoot>Chesnaught=Serperior>Sceptile=Venausaur for me
>>29053983
Haven't you tired the same old song? Leakfags, Hazeldex, they are not real, boohoohoo my feefees hurt, shut it and enjoy the thread
>>29052934
armbow is retarteeed
>>29055778
While it's certainly unrealistic, it doesn't really bother me that much. I tried shooting a pen with my hoodie's string and it actually kind of works. I can see a fictional creature with specialized muscles and vines being able to do this
>>29049743
>those cripple legs all bent and fucked up
Robinrootfags confirmed for cripplefuckers
>>29052934
If we want to be all "muh physics", most flying types shouldn't be able to fly because their wings are too small or impractical, and all the pokemon with giant heads we've been getting over the years should have terrible balance.
>>29049743
Look at those fucked up legs. 0/10
>>29055946
>>29056022
Have you guys never seen a bird before?
>>29049743
The bow thing doesn't make sense to me because it's a direct downgrade from Dartrix. It can throw feathers so well they can fucking change their trajectory. Suddenly it evolves, and now it needs a bow to do it? What the fuck happened?
>>29056164
That shit [Robinhoot] is not attached to a torso like your pic. It looks fucked up on a humanoid model. Stop pretending your slice of the shit cake isnt as smelly as the other 2.
>>29056164
>bird
(You)
>>29049843
you can tell by the art style that a furry drew this
you think furries care about anatomy
>>29056715
>The art in the OP is furshit so JUST ADMIT THIS POKEMON YOU LIKE SUCKS!!!1
>>29056715
Stop pretending your opinion on here matters
>>29056662
Yeah, I can see where you are coming from, anon.
But, Gamefreak designed the Rowlet line with Robin Hood in mind.
In folklore, Robin Hood was a nobleman of high class before becoming a vigilante, helping the poor and such.
When you look at Rowlet and Dartrix, they kinda look like high class birds, with their bowties. Heck, Dartrix proves this even more with it's hair, body posture and personality.
I think the entire Rowlet line is brilliant and I can look past the downgrade you've stated.
>>29056662
A bow would grant more power, more range and more precision
>>29049817
Birds have regular knees dude, the backwards part is their ankle.
>>29050044
not him but even when I know robinhoot is real making the feathers of its wings shorter to make it look like hand on purpose is some furry shit
Even if for some reason it is fake, I'm glad it was popular enough for all the awesome art that people have made.pls be real i dont want to get btfo as hard as balliofags
>>29056662
Bows are an upgrade from knife throwing.
on gen 6 Chesnaught, now archer owl. Oh boy, grass starters allways looks nice (Except snake thing from gen 5 and dino from gen 2
Just realizd we could have a theme going
Hero - Robinhoot
Villian - Liften
Princess - Poppmaid
>pulling on tassels closes the hood
>uses tassel as bowstring
So every time he tries to shoot an arrow, his hood closes on his face?
>>29061121
Yes, that's even shown in the official art piece
>>29061064
With Pikipek being the knight, Mudsdale being the steed, Jangmo'o being the dragon, Mimikyu being the witch
not to mention all the alchemy stuff, Maybe Sun and Moon have a hidden Mideval Fantasy theme
>STILL not have feminine Owl Archer art
Why
>>29061121
it doesnt shut the hood all the way
it concentrates his field of vision for better aim
ITT: How do owl legs work? I dunno, let's just complain about it.
>Everytime
do we have the nearest idea of how its stats will be?

>>29053539
>>29053969
>>29054123
Nah. Sceptile is still better than Torterra. Torterra is just a bit too slow for my liking.
>>29049933
Serperior > Torterra > Robinhoot > Chesnaugt >= Sceptile > Venusaur >>>>>>Meganium
>>29052934
I want autism to go.
>>29052676
Robin hood was a posh brit nobleman before he bacame robin hood
>>29049743
>>29049912
these don't fit with the concept art, there is only one bend backwards
>>29053133
there is only one bend shown here
and in owls the femur is so up high you don't really see a knee bend at all. The bend that is seen is similar to our ankle
in this picture the fragment you see directly connected to the toes before any bend is the tarsus which is our group of foot bones before your toes
the op picture is so painfully wrong
>>29061664
>>29061121
Ya, it narrows it's view to better focus on it's target it's aiming at, kinda like a sniper scope.
>>29063269
I'm not a big fan of it as well, I don't mind slow mons, but I'm just not fond of Torterra's design.
As for Sceptile, it was my first pokemon so I ought to like it.

Here's a picture of a Barn Owl that I took this May as it took off from its nest box. Even though they pull the legs close to the body in flight, even though the proportions look more squat when perched, those limbs are looooooong and gangly compared to the body of the bird. Barn Owls have especially long legs compared to other owls because they hunt in open space with tall grass: the extra reach makes it easier for them to nab rodents among the stems. P.S. Their talons are crazy sharp even compared to other raptors, their vision and hearing are impeccable, and their wingbeats are essentially silent. Perfect predators.

He's so manly. Love him!

>furbait blaziken: mossy duck edition

fuck this garbage
>>29066104
Owls are nuts.
>>29063269
I prefer slow tanky mons for in game, if I use strong fast mons the enemy never gets a chance to attack and that's just not fun for me personally.
