There are times where having faith is fine and you get rewarded for it (a bit early to tell, but the SM games seem to be shaking up the formula a lot and be really interesting because of that).

There are times where you get stabbed in the back, but having faith was still fine because you had the best intentions and your only fault was being too naive (XY&Z38).
