I'll regret doing this.

I'm an incredibly anxious person who ended up fucking up their life by trying to kill themselves a few years ago. Ended up disabled, ended up unable to do much but mope about and hate myself even more. Recently I've been on a massive kick to 'get better', i lost 100 plus pounds, i've been walking to build up strength in my legs again, etc. I even applied for a job today, but I cried as I handed in the CV. i think i fucked it up.

Pokemon saved my life. I played it in the hospital, in my bed, and whenever i felt sad, it's kept me alive. Pokemon go (please dont call me a normie) even helped me get the motivation to start leaving the house more, something i was terrified of before.

It's been a constant friend and companion since I was old enough to know what the fuck Pokemon was - thankfully, right in the midst of the original explosion. It's the one series I'll always go back to, and something I've appreciated in different ways for different things since I've been a kid.

I spend my days consuming media (books, anime, games, music, the net, etc.) and in some sense the characters I surround myself with are more important to me than anything in the real world - like Miku. I go to a local university and work in a bakery, but I'm firmly stuck in place, aspiration-less. My close friends are on the short list of reasons why I haven't killed myself yet.

It's important for me to be really kind to others - I follow the "golden rule" closely. I take a lot of pride in my ability to get a long with lots of different kinds of people, but I don't feel comfortable with others in general.

I'm very confused as what to do with my life. I've just recently been "red-pilled" getting into politics, and it saddens me greatly while also giving me conviction. I love and forgive people way to quickly, but at the same time have a temper and can be incredibly defensive/protective.
