I have re-enabled the map on my site.

This is useful because if you see a rare on the nearby, you can look on my map and if you've scanned in that area before you should be able to toggle on Spawnpoints and see the locations where the rare may have spawned.

Grey means no poke. Blue means nearly a poke. Green means poke just spawned. Red means poke is about to despawn.

It's not great but it's better than nothing during this downtime of scanners. Also, writing a bit more of an FAQ at the moment, check it out later on if you're interested.

This is it /pgg/. This is the last straw.

I've been playing increasingly less per day for the last month, with some days not even at all. The game is a boring chore and the shitty useless updates aren't fixing that. I didn't get a 10km egg since July. All I get are shitty 5kms with a 2km every 4th egg or so. On top of that, mysticfags have infected the town to the point that it's near impossible to get more than 20 shekels per day, so not even fighting gyms is fun.

If this thing evolves into a Twister Cuckdos, I'll just stop playing since Niantic will never introduce other gens.

Thanks PSG. For everything, for what you just did, and for the changes you made shortly before 0.35 died, specifically the one where special spawn points (2x15 etc) get called out. I had already scanned my neighborhood, and now I know which places will give me a second chance if I'm not around for the first spawn.

Being able to scan a large radius was a godsend to my gaming; I could immediately tell whether someone was just fucking around (or got lucky with a 2x15 spawn and claimed they'd found a "nest" when they had found nothing) or whether there was an actual nest present, and I used that information to explore places around my region that I would never have considered visiting before.

Which was exactly what Hanke intended for us to do -- except, like most Googlers, he just doesn't get it. Great technologist. Total failure at understanding what makes a game fun.

If you take down a mon with a lower cp mon... yes, it has a big effect on prestige lost (enemy team) or gained (friendly team).

If you're trying to power up a friendly gym so you can put in your own mon, try to train against just the first defender with a mon that's slightly lower CP but with strenghts/weaknesses that make it a breeze.

As an Instinct player it was impossible for me to get more than 2 for a long time precisely because I live in the city. A lot of active players and Mystic dominates hard. Today I saw two weak gyms from my house and decided to bike around a bit. Actually one was reclaimed while I was getting fourth but I managed to get it back before losing another one.

Me too even in weekends. I can only get 2 a day at best. I have one secure next to my home then have to walk 350km to get to the second gym which for my unfortunate luck is next to an apartment full of rabid kids and the third gym is next to a church and is always Valor locked. Ive been having better luck sitting at home letting my character GPS drift to hatch eggs than actually walking since some reason I keep getting disconnected or crash when i leave my house.

However for over a week now my GPS seems to be pinpoint and I cant get it to drift anymore. Not sure what I can do to get it back to drifting. Like if I need to put it under a thicker table or near electronics. Im currently sick and can't get out of bed and just want to make some progress
