What is the best team in emerald to make with Sceptile and no legendaries? I need to know so i can defeat my friend who has all the Gen 3 games. All he uses are strong sweepers from gen 1 and 3.

How much do you even know about competitive teambuilding? All I'm willing to do is spoonfeed you the basics:
>pick a playstyle (hyper offensive, bulky offensive, balanced, stall, weather team)
>pick an OU Pokemon to build your core around
>second Pokemon checks your first's counters
>third Pokemon checks more counter
>fill in the blanks for needed roles (sweepers, breakers, supports, tanks, pivots, etc.)
