Personally i play the Games but i have been hiding the existence of Anime/Vidya to my 6 year old son
I know its harsh but i want him to become a productive member of society. And if he doesn't see Anime or plays Vidya he will surely make it.

Sadly no...
My younger brother used to play them, but he's not into Pokemon anymore.

My little sister (12) is a weaboo like me. She was watching Shounen anime, playing Ace Attorney, Dragon Quest, Earthbound and Pokemon last week. She's good looking and does all of her homework, she even goes out with friends once in a while, she's even at the top of her class. Let them enjoy their lives, anon. You're only a kid for a short time

Yeah i know but its too much risk. One day he watches Toonami and in the next he is a furry full of Anime posters and loli porn.

All it takes is for one of your son's classmates to show him Hentai and bam, you got yourself a weebnerdgeek.
That's what happened to me, I was 11. Though I had already been watching anime on toonami for years before that.

Anon a lot of that shit is caused by repression and autism. If he clears the test and you don't hide it from him he'll turn out nice and normal. Maybe even a bit too normal.

As a yiff seller, I can tell you that those barely overlap.

>Though I had already been watching anime on toonami for years before that.
That was the mistake
You can always homeschool, but then you run the risk of your son becoming Sheltered and socially awkward.
You can get him into sports and make him watch MTV, and BET, but then you run the risk of raising a thug delinquent that tries liquor and pot at a house party by 13yo.
You can try to get him into music and shove academics down his throat, but then you run the risk of him hating you later in life for being a hardass.
The best you or anyone can do for their children is to expose them to everything through guidance and not forceful authority, let them know that their choices have pros and cons, that life isn't just one road, but countless roads and let them decide for themselves which roads to try and wary of.

I mean, everyone at school talked about Dragonball Z n shit.
Also, what the fuck else does an 8 year old have interest in beside flashy cartoons after school

>OP pic
hazeldex would be proud.

Given that video games are now more normalized among kids than ever he's already going to hate him anyway.

No friends, but a handful of my coworkers play extremely casually and barely know anything about competitive, the lore, or the names of any Pokemon past gen 1. I have no relatives that play Pokemon, and they'd think I'm a weirdo for being a Pokemon fan at my age, which is partially the reason why I keep Pokemon and my other interests to myself.

The mermaid, I can forgive, but that fucking tiger shit...
