Generations has solid movements and the attacks arent all CG reused animation glowy appendage/generic beams. See Dragonite using Fire Punch. TPCi dubs are total ass these days: the only decent dub they've put out in 10 years was the Origins dub.

Yeah, I'm convinced after watching Generations dubbed & the XY-XYZ dub, TPCi has the innate ability to suck any talent out of anyone they work with at this point. Lisa Ortiz has directed many other good dubs, but her Pokemon dub direction is just as horrendous as Tom Wayland's voice direction was (and keep in mind, the man did not even direct and let the actors do whatever the fuck they wanted). I'm amazed they could even make Ellyn Stern a lousy director.

Seriously, if Pokemon got a better English company in charge of it, it would not be this shit today- it's sad.

It's true that there really isn't a nice easy direct equivalent for the sound but if you want to get an English speaker who doesn't know a lick of Japanese to pronounce スイクン right, "swee-coon" will get you a much better result than "sooey-coon".
