>Grass is weak against Flying
Literally why. Why is grass weak to flying, do birds of prey hunt trees? No they hunt mice and other shit that's usually Normal type. Therefore flying should be strong against Normal not Grass.
>>
>>28981240
Some species of birds eat grass. Also it's not too hard to imagine a bird being able to easily shred grass to pieces with its sharp talons and beak. That's always been my reasoning anyway

Porygon is a computer virus. Birds don't use computers they would crap all over the computer.

Birds eat nuts and seeds, anon. How old are you?
>>
>>28981539
psychic telekinetically concentrates a poison type's toxins into an area of its body where it will do damage.
the fairy/dragon thing is based on folklore, isn't it?

>fairy being immune to dragon (other than the fact to try and balance dragon type)
It's honestly sad how much fiction we'll lose because parents were too lazy to tell stories to their kids because they relied on Disney to do their jobs for them.

Because birds literally shit on plants so it only makes sense that they'd figuratively shit on them too.

Why do people not get psychic and poison

Poison has to touch you to hurt you, psychics were all originally telekinetic
>>
>>28981240
A mighty storm can fell trees and shear off limbs from them. A bird tears bits of plants away to either eat them, eat what us under them, or make nests. Flying types can flit through the defenses of grass mon as easily as a small bird can fly between the branches of a tree or bush.

Collections of dead wood. Dead as in, was already dead before the bird came anywhere near it.
>>
>>28981687
that would explain it if psychic was resistant to poison, but it doesn't explain why poison is weak to psychic. >>28981582 does.

I thought the story was more common in eastern myths, as I know the Vietnamese human creation story was about a sea dragon and a faerie of the land falling in love, having kids, and drifting apart with the Dragon promising that all fairies would be safe from all dragons.
>>
>>28981716
It'd be a lot easier throwing a muk around with your mind then trying to hit it physically, same with a snake or plant with poisonous barbs

It does make a lot more sense as a resistance though
>>
>>28981722
top kek
>>
>>28981539
Water would be more super effective against poison though. As most poisons are diluted by water and rendered useless.

inb4 pollution.
Pollution is also diluted, it kills things in the water, not the liquid itself.
>>
>>28981240
because its wind type, not bird type you fucking idiot
>>
>>28981957
Yeah because when you throw polluted liquids on a river, the river stay completly clean and it's okay to drink it's water.
>>

This reminded me we need a symbiotic grass/flying Shrike and thorned plant pokemon. Based on the two breeding separately, but when together create a new pokemon with better stats and ability, but only possible to get through breeding the two.

What is vaporeon.
>>
>>28981623
It helps the tree by getting rid of the bugs in it.
>>
>>28981957

>Pollution is also diluted, it kills things in the water, not the liquid itself.

So you mean like fish, penguins, sea birds, turtles, etc.?
>>
>>28981971
There are palm tree in tropical regions that completely laught at hurricanes despite being so tall. Plus, it's mostly old/almost dead trees that get blown away or there dead branches. Wood is a substance not to be underestimated, similar to ice.
>>
>>28982059
>what is one pokémon in a literal sea of other pokémon that should be weak to poison
If you take exceptions into account no type matchup makes sense. Not that I particularly consider Vaporeon to be 100% made of water anyways
>>
>>28981539
Psychic v Posion is simply mind over illness. It's the placebo healing effect. Idk why that works intrapersonally as an attack however
>>
>>28982128
True, most pokemon aren't based specifically for a type aka not all water pokemon are made of water. However, they embody the traits of said type or element. So if water dilutes poison, then so do water pokemon. They make take damage from it, but not enough to be a weakness.
>>
>>28982220
>deadly neurotoxin
>>
>>28982230
If that's the case and you consider the type as water itself instead of sea creatures, it would be immune to everything, besides maybe and ironically fire/ice.
>>
>>28981240
1. Birds feed on "grass type"
2. Winds are known of destroying plants
>>
>>28981240

I always saw it as

1) Birds sometimes hollow out trees to live inside of, and thus have a power over them so to speak

2) fuck you
>>
>>28981687

>poison has to touch you to hurt you

so.. does.... everything else?
>>
Autism.
>>

>>
>>28982279
And grass and electricity. Grass absorbs it. Electricity goes hay-wire in it.
>>
>>28982505
not psychic
which is the point

>>28982535
>the old "lol its a kids game lol" argument to justify every dumb thing

when will you ever give up
>>
>>28981687
I think it's more psychics are smart enough to counteract the poison which is deadly to the poison pokemon like giving life to the undead in some videogames.
>>
>>28981957
Water/liquid isn't alive so you can't kill it.

But since you're saying it kills the things in the water (like aquatic life, for example), you're pretty much proving his point.
>>
>>28982505
What... about... non-physical... psychic... attacks... or... ghost...?...

>>

3. Most birds makes nests out of plants some even hollow out trees to make their home.
Our feathered friends essentially makes the grass typing their bitch.
>>
>>28981957
Good thing water pokemon aren't animals and pure water.

Great, i really needed an excuse to abuse Talonflame further

Bravest bird being stupid as fuck is a separate issue from flying type generally being a liability.
