Greninja doesn't look like anyone. It's shown that another Greninja long ago that looked the same existed long before Ash was even born.
If anything, Ash looks like this Greninja, not the other way around.
As for it's name, it is also called Hero Greninja, but in the anime this form was named Ash Greninja because of their resemblance.

The only reason it's called like this now and Ash is referenced is just that, fan service for the anime. You can bond with Greninja and gain this form and don't need to look like Ash.

Battle Bonded Greninjas have looked like this since long before Ash even existed. It's not that it takes after the trainer it bonds with, Battle Bonded Greninjas just look like this.

You know how Alan dressed with the same color as Mega Charizard X? Yeah, it doesn't mean that Mega Charizard is getting his look from Alan. It's just that Alan also happens to look like that.

No matter who they Bond with, Battle Bond Greninja ALWAYS looks like Ash.

Even if they make Ash bald and have Greninja bond with Ash, Greninja will STILL look the same.
