I'll get in on that, probably so young they don't realize that BW2's online doesn't work due to Nintendo's DS wifi servers going down, and not the global link

I'm surprised they're leaving wonder trades and free battles and not just shutting down and ditching everything gen 6 wireless related

Well you should probably make the most of ranked now. While you'll still be able to play online after it goes down ranked will be unavailable.

This was announced months ago. They killed Global Link for Gen 5 when XY came out too.
