Having one is impressive already, being so small. It even has a forest and an ice cave.

Europe doesn't really have many mountains in real life, OP. It's mostly flat, which is one of the reasons wars have been so frequent there, no natural barriers.

I even looked this up before posting to be sure I didn't make an ass of myself, and the first two mountain ranges listed in Europe on wikipedia re the Ural Mountains (a.k.a. the border between Europe and Asia) and the Caucasus Mountains (a.k.a. the other border between Europe and Asia).

As for France, the only mountain range I think it has is the Pyrenees, which is the border between France and Spain, and the Alps, also along its border.

The whole southern part of France is mountainous, with the Alps covering a sizable part and also being one of the most famous mountain range in the world. The Mont Blanc is in France and is the highest in Europe. We even have volcanoes.
But the reason for that might be because as I said, most of these mountains are in Southern France , and Kalos covers mostly the North.

But of you want to know anything about European geography anon, it's that European is basically cut in two : the North is flat and the south is very mountainous and known for that.

I'd argue that these are fictional locations so real world doesnt have to apply, but a lot of the mountains seem to be based on real world locations.

Not all of them though. And like >>28958206 said, there are a couple. Plus, Kalos was mountainous to get a Mountain Kalos dex either way

It's not even a really big issue, just an observation I noticed
