This is the problem with a lot of fakemon, they have no sense of subtlety at all. They literally just drew a banana with a bird face on it.

Klefki isn't literally a key chain. It's a fairy creature that steals keys. And they designed it in a way to look like a key chain when its arms are closed. It's far better than just taking a fruit and drawing some unrelated animal face on it.

That is a preference of design, not a flaw in fakemon. Plenty of real Pokemon have the subtle of being called Mr. Mime. That thing could fit in just fine, and I say that despite thinking it is stupid as fuck.

When a Pokemon has elements from some other object there's always a reason for it, it's not just "lolll let's make this bird look like a banana xD"

Mr Mime is a mime creature that can make actual physical psychic walls instead of just pretend ones. There's no issue with it
