What's with people hating on Mr. Mime? I mean, I admit I personally like it but I can understand is probably one of the ugliest and/or less appealing pokemon, but I don't think that's enough reason for so many people wishing it didn't exist.

I mean, you barely see Mr. Mime in any of the games. No important NPC has one iirc (the closest thing are the clowns in D/P/Pt who have Mime Jr), and it's not forced into the player either like some other pokemon are. It doesn't even appear in the wild in most games.

Anyways, to answer your question, OP, I'm not really sure. I used to hate on Cresselia a lot because I used to find it annoying to deal with in online battles, but since Knock Off got powered up it isn't a problem anymore so idk.

This. Mr Mime is one of, if not the least "Pokemonlike" of all Pokemon. It isn't a monster, it's a person. I don't dislike Mr. Mime, but it clashes with Pokemon, moreso after later generations design trend solidified that Mr. Mime was in fact a mistake. Mime Jr. is fine, it looks fairly Pokemonlike. The issue is just Mr. Mime.
